Ok the first thing i always tell people is get the whole experiance about owning and caring for a ball python BEFORE you attempt breeding them .

I prefer panko.

Seriously. Research, research, and research some more. Dig through the websites and read breeder blogs. Visit shows and forums. Pick breeder brains. It's amazing how many people are out there calling themselves "breeders" that can't tell the difference between a normal and a simple pastel.

The snakes will always be there, use this time to be totally prepared.
