    Re: OMG, they're pipping!! (DUW)

Thanks to everyone for the comments! I'm soooooo excited, mostly that they all appear healthy... doesn't matter if they're ALL normals, as long as they come out okay - right? I am back on the fence with that "mystery egg," though, after taking a better look today. I dunno, but he/she REALLY looks more like a Mojave than pastel... the overall coloring is very gray/silver-ish, and I see a few of the Mojave keyhole markings on there. I'm also now confused about the one I labeled pastel, since there's a chance it's just a high-yellow normal (but still leaning more towards pastel).

So at this point I either have 4 normals and 2 pastels, 5 normals and a Mojave, or 4 normals 1 pastel & 1 Mojave. Guess the waiting game doesn't stop even after cutting, LOL. Anyway, thanks again and I'll post when they're all out! The first pipper's egg is looking very dried out now, so I have a feeling he'll emerge tonight or tomorrow.

    Re: OMG, they're pipping!! (DUW)

Btw, does anyone have pictures of a Mojave and/or pastel still in the egg? Since this is my first clutch, it would help to see what they're supposed to look like at this point.

LOL... I thought I was boring y'all with my barrage of photos! Did you see my thread on the photos subforum? So far only one is completely out, and the other 5 are just now starting to emerge. Here are a few more photos to tide you over:

Finally got them all separated, and removed the bad egg... the inside looked like scrambled eggs. Blech.

The first one out - and pretty sure it's a girl!
