Sorry this happened, but can you explain why and how it falls back on the breeder?

well i just picked up a about two weeks ago , i hade my tank setup for awhile before i picked him up to get temps and everything setup and correct well i picked him up on feeding day right before he feed them so i waited a couple of days to tyr to feed woulnd eat so i called him to let him know. he said the rest of them were eating fine. i said ok well ill give it a week or so he said ok well he still didnt eat .then last night i noticed a big lump by his vent so i set him in luck warm water , well when he did poo it came out all runny an green with some black in it. im thinking parasite i put him in a bag going to vet soon to find out for sure. i have a brand new tank and no more animals that he could have got from.so im thinmking he got a parasite from were i got him from. if you have another thery let me know.
    would love to here opinions.

    Re: bad news

it could be a freak accident or something, dont go blasting the breeder yet, and once u have seen the vet if they find anything then get copies to provide to the breeder so he knows what is going on also. that way he can fix the problem or give u money or a replacement

it was young so maybe something internally was wrong, or maybe parasites, or maybe something else, but yes it does happen and it sucks.

    Re: bad news

sorry to hear that, but i agree with what the others suggested. have the vet analyze and do an autopsy and get copies so that you have enough reason and evidence to get your money back.

    hope everything turns your way
