Re: First morph you ever produce?

Last year I had my first clutch. A normal (banded) female to a pastel male.
I ended up producing 2 banded pastels. Whether or not the banding is genetic, I have yet to proove out. However this was the females second clutch in life where she produced banded babies. Her third clutch is in the incubator and she was with a cinnamon so we will see if her banding affects these babies.
Here is my male banded pastel that I held back.

Yet another reason why I'm holding back everyone. The price is so low its not worth it for me to sale them. Plus, they're so many on the market right now there's is no way a no name like me could sell them.

Re: First morph you ever produce?

This is from my 1st clutch ever. I went to check on day 55 and was going to cut if no one was pipping, but already had heads peaking out when I opened the egg box.

When I opened the egg box:

What I ended up with from that clutch, a killerbee, super pastel, some bumblebees, spiders and a normal:
"If I were stranded on a desert island and could only have one book, record and person...I'd probably die of exposure."

Re: First morph you ever produce?

My first were a pair of albinos from breeding a het male to a 50% possible het female, I think this was in 2002. Those possible het females cost me more back then than what an albino sells for today.

Why shocked? They're super popular, have been around a relatively long time and are reasonably priced. I would have thought the only thing that would beat spiders would be pastels.

It is kind of funny. I've been breeding ball pythons for 10 years now and this year is the first time I've produced spiders. Wierd huh?
