    Appetite Stimulaters

    Has anyone of you guys tried any appetite stimulators on your off the feed BPs? Do they work?

    Never tried them never had too.. if you snake was feeding before then it will start feeding again, if not then there is a reason i.e illness, husbandry, breeding ect.

    im looking for it too.... lol...

    my female have been with me for 2 mths.. first day with me was 800g.. then meal time was 5 days a time.. after a mth.. change to 7days a time.. then suddenly.. friday was her feeding day.. i wan to feed her.. she went off feed.. and coil herself up.. i try to use tong n shake the rat in front of her she show no interests... wat m i goin to do?

    fyi, her weigh now is 1080g..

    There's no need.. Ball pythons miss meals all the time... Example

    Got a Lemon blast back in March.. He was 450 grams great looking little guy..Never ate..didn't eat for 2 months...I didn't worry, why he didn't get to be 450 grams not eating, I waited and kept offering a rat every week, then after about 8 weeks he ate..not he pounds rats and just fine..

    Healthy, subadult, snakes can go months without food and do it all the time, it's scary at first, frustrating after a time then it gets to be part of it.

    I have some 1000 gram females that went off feed 3 to 4 months ago and are still being stuborn about eating. I was hopeing to get there weight up to breeding size for this season.

    Yep it happens.. pumping them full of some chemical to get them to breeding weight is a no no..

    You do need to worry with some Balls though...mainly ones that have been breeding. They will starve themselves to death if not given a food they want.

    BG knows how to knock that "wall" down. Sorry fans...this leeetle secret is worth millions. BG is sure someone a lot nicer than him might give you all some suggestions.

    oh no.. wat the the 1000g wall? im trying to breed her in the near future when she hit 1300-1500g.. but now she seem no interested in wadever food i give her.. how how? how to break the wall?
