    Do you offer live?

I bought a bunch of f.t for them. What are the odds of them taking it?

Probably quite low. I tried it my 1st year hatching bps and not a single one took f/t right away. I have best success offering live mouse hoppers. Many can be switched after a few meals, but if I was you I'd just try live mouse hoppers to start off with. You'll probably end up wasting a bunch of f/t trying to get them to eat it to start with.

Some take it, but I think the majority probably won't.

I usually offer a live rat pup and leave it in their cage overnight. I just fed my last clutch of 7 a live pup each. Two of them ate within 15 minutes, and the rest of them ate during the night.

Sure hope you mean rat fuzzy. Most rat pups are 20-29 grams in weight and well thats huge for first meal. Large pinky rats or small fuzzy rats is good for first few meals or live mouse hopper.

Thats a good tip. Hoppers can't inflict any damage to a hatchling can they? I got to go to the pet store and see what they got. I'm pretty sure they have rat pups, and hoppers. I just like the idea of the rat pup because they really seem harmless, but are they both equally as safe to feed?

haha, I always mix the names myself. I'm going to call in a little bit to see if they have rat fuzzies, or hoppers. Thanks everyone
