Snakes in my sleep!

Have you guys ever had herp-related dreams?

I had one last night. I remember I went and caught a bunch of snakes and kept two in their own tank, and for some reason thought it was fine to keep a garter in a tank with two rattlers. I also thought rattlers were okay to handle and got bit...3 times. I went to school like it was nothing, then asked the teacher "Can I go to the nurse? It's an emergency, I was bitten by a rattlesnake this morning." And the nurse was like "Sorry, I can't do anything." Then the principal changed that, and my friends all crowded around like "That's awesome! What was it like? Did it hurt?" etc etc.

It's probably just a reflection of what would happen if I decided to keep hots. But yknow, it wouldn't be as funny in real life. :/

Yes! I've had a lot of dreams regarding herps. I've dreamed that I had to gather up a bunch of rattlers on a filming location, so I could either contain them until after filming was done and release them, or move them(I can't rem if they decided which is was supposed to be). I've also dreamed that I suddenly came upon tons of ball pythons in the woods, and was trying to gather them up, but I couldn't find a container of any sort, so I was holding some in my hands and frantically trying to think of what to do to carry more.

I also dreamed once there was a giant(over 15 ft tall) frog that was singing Sinatra songs. I kept telling everyone it was WRONG and the frog was obviously dangerous, but no one thought there was anything wrong with all this. Then it ate me.

Yes.. I'm aware.. I have a lot of odd dreams. I have tons of dreams involving herps too.

Haha the week before i got my BP thats all i would dream about.

I remember walking into BHB and getting a baby Normal Ball python.

LOL That's funny. It's okay. I had a dream where my mom and I were stowaways on an old-fashioned, Old West style freight train. We were just sitting in the car and Daniel Raddcliffe (you know, Harry Potter?) was there too.

I love having strange dreams.

I had a dream once that my arms were snakes, and when I went to hug my friends I accidentally constricted them to death. Then the dream somehow shifted into me being some kind of occult type monster like bigfoot or something, and I was sent to a museum as "the missing link." I escaped because the guards were afraid of snakes and I tried to touch them. I was on the run when my alarm went off. I'm always hoping that one of these nights that dream will just pick up where it left off, because I hate cliff hangers.

I dream about snakes with some regularity, but they are almost always terrible dreams.

When I was gone for a week and couldn't check on my collection I had dreams that they were all out and eating each other. When I dream about my own snakes they're usually dying.

When I dream about snakes that aren't mine they're coming after me and trying to bite me. Usually I'm picking them up and throwing them as far as i can and trying to escape but there are just too many.


I really don't know why I always have such awful dreams about them :/

I had a dream about king cobras last week. In the dream my boyfriend and his boss were handling the cobras, and they got loose. One struck at me. He got it back on the hook, and when he asked if I had been bitten. His boss dropped the other one, after which I got bitten... lol
Horrible dream right? As I was "dying" they were arguing over which hospital would be best to take me too. I kept saying BAMSY, lol I wasn't very happy with them. Luckily I woke up shortly after wards.

I've had herp related dreams a few times. But I dont really remember much from them, other than one dream where I for some reason had a blood python that was the size of a burmese python. And I was trying to tell everyone how amazing it was that it was that big, but no one cared. haha

Don't remember any dream involving herps. I have lost a lot of sleep over them though. Being a little OCD, I sometimes have to get up in the middle of the night to check the temps. And I won't even get started the sleep I have lost over my first breeding project. I'm still a few weeks away from even trying to start it.
