Should I worry?

Nothing is better than knowing you have a strong eater. Honestly that's probably the best feeling I've gotten since getting Eva. I placed the adult mouse in the tank today and within 10 seconds she was on it like white on rice.

However, after she ate, she slithered over to the cool hide. She hasn't moved since that was at 2:30 today. I know that I refuse to mess with her, but I assume she will move over to the hot hide at some point to help herself digest the mouse? Or will she just not move because she's trying to digest.

I shouldn't mess with her, right?

Giver her roughly 2 days. If she doesnt go to the warm side by then, you can move her there. She should digest fine on the cool side, it will just take a little longer. If you move her, be sure to support the mid section good.

Ok, I did that with the other feeding, I left her alone for the full two days. Petco had her on fuzzy mice, which seemed to small. This Adult Mouse was a bit large for her possibly, but she pounded it down like a champ. She's probably been hungry since Monday haha. I'm just glad I have a good eater out of the box of owning her.

I'll see how she's doing by Saturday and go from there.

Let the snake thermo-regulate on it's own, if it wants to sit on the cool side so be it, I personally wouldn't move it anywhere.

If you do decide to move her which i see no problem with, just dont stretch her out and shes ok. Just cup her and move her. I move snakes that have eaten sometimes due to the fact that i have some babies that decide to only feed in a dark shoebox. Never had any problems.

I'm not planning on moving her. I'll wait for a few days and see what she does. I'm assuming by tomorrow after work I should see her at least moved from her spot.

The snake has been eating rodents for millions of years, they don't need a human to move them to the hot spot to digest on.
If they feel the need to sit on the hot spot, I promise it will do it on it's own.

Just don't handle that snake after eating or it might break

Lol. I think i remember watching Austin Stevens wrestle a Reticulated Python that just ate. If a snake would throw up, it would have been at that point. Haha

That's my point, I see a lot of miss information being spread by people with one or two snakes that just don't make sense.
If a snake eats in the wild, and it eats out of it's burrow, guess what it has to do to get back to it's den?
Nobody picks it up and gently sits it in it's home, it slithers however far it has to to make it safely back to it's den.

You don't have to move the snake over to the warm side, my snake always goes over to the colder side after eating and doesn't move at all. If your warm side is the right temps, higher 80's then the snake will digest fine, might just take a littler longer.
