Is there anything that really differenciate Black pastels and Cinny's ? Or are the Black Pastel a darker version of the Cinny morph? Sometimes I really can't tell. And then throw a Blackback cinny in there and it's even more confusing...
I don't really get either, to be honest! I posted a thread asking if he was a cinny or bp when I got him, so you should read through the answers: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=110236

According to Raul of West Coast Jungle: "One difference between a cinny and a black pastel are the sqiggly markes in the pattern. Meaning the cinny just has the round dots(like a mojave) in the pattern and the Blacks have this sqiuggly marks surrounding the pattern. Yours looks alot like a cinny but he has some squiggly marks associated with the blacks. Then again the head looks more cinny but belly looks more like a black."

I just know his lineage because of who produced him (Robert Seib), and who later sold him to me (Skiploder/Craig)... they're both very trustworthy sources, so if they say he's a black pastel that's what he is! There is a fine line between the two morphs, though, and I'd be interested to see a cross-breeding project. Has anyone does that, if so did they produce a super together?

P.S. Dave is from the Ian G line, which does seem to produce lighter cinny-like black pastels... I personally think they're beautiful.
