I have a five day rule, First I go in asking if they are Hiring OR accepting Applications, and I only ask the top Manager this, most will tell you up front if they are looking for someone or not when asked that question. If they just say Accepting Applications, they may still be looking for someone. After I turn the Application in, I call back in five days asking for an update on it. Most told me that they had not even looked at it yet, and would promptly now that I called. Again if they do not call back, try again in five days.
Oh belive me i call and call and call some more lol i think i make them sick of me thats why id otn get them lol. like i said ive got 2 jobs that look good for me. my issue is when ever i call a place the manager is never in and the employee doesnt know when they will be it sucks
