Dude! That low white mojave pied is insane! Do you know anything genetically about why it doesn't have the pied pattern?
no as far as i know its the only low white mojave pied. im hopeing someone will produce another one this year. he has a pied female waiting on him for next year. just to hush the critics. i dont remember where i saw it but i've seen a mojave pied that has a normal looking mojave head. all others have that crazy mushed up pattern and color like the female. i think that when they are high white it crams all the color and pattern together. theres not that many mojave pieds. so like i said, hopefully someone else will produce a low white mojo pied this year. i've got two eggs cooking from a mojo het pied to het pied. my het pied female had an 8 egg clutch and only two candled good so its kinda a long shot but theres still a chance
'04 Pied male I produced.
Breeding my Pewter female back in '07-08.
08 Pewter het Pied M#1 (old pic in shed)
08 Pewter het Pied M#2 (old pic in shed)
08 Pewter het Pied M#3 (old pic in shed)
I currently have two clutches on the ground from Pewter het Pied X Pastel het Pied, one clutch from Pewter het Pied X Pewter, and one clutch from Pewter het Pied X 66% pos. het Pied with markers. I'm waiting on a clutch from Pewter het Pied X Pied. I also have two '09 female Pewter het Pieds I'm raising up for hopes of 2010-11 or 2011-12 seasons. This year should be interesting either way. I have several possibilities of producing unseen morphs....Pewter Pied or Sterling Pied anyone?
Great looking Pieds everyone! Good luck with the season!
