I'm going to throw out a little different spin on this hybrid. With all of the different State and Federal bills pending, I don't think we need to associate the Ball Python with the Retic. Regardless of the looks of the hybrid snake, I think we are now putting the Ball Python in the same light as the Retic. I know there's a BIG difference, but them Congress Critters don't care and all we're doing with the Baltic is adding ammunition for their fight.

The Ball Python has always been seen differently than the larger pythons, but if they find out a Ball Python CAN breed with the Retic (and it's been done), they could start looking more closely at the Ball Python.
