My first BP escaped in the car and got into the ventilation system. My mother was driving me and the snake back college one day after going home for a weekend. I had the snake in a cardboard box that I thought FOR SURE was escape proof. Low and behold, he made his way out and made his way into the heat vent. We tried to lure him out/disassemble the dashboard/reach in and get him from 8am-7pm. We finally gave up and brought the car to the shop to have it completely disassembled. The mechanic was afraid of snakes and refused to work on it. Finally, after a few days, they found a mechanic that would work on it but it was too late.
I learned from this that you can never be too secure because BP's will find their way out of ANYTHING.
