    Why not something like this?

Well I was in wal-mart the other day and saw those plastic drawer things. I think everyone knows what im talking about. Well I was thinking, If you got the ones that have tops to each and you stacked them, installed flexwatt on the back and hooked it up to a t-stat, shouldnt they be fine?

    Im talking about these:

It seems like it would be easy. Take out the drawers, attach flexwatt with the reflective tape to the back wall just like any other rack and it should be fine, right?

Has anyone else ever tried this?

They are not escape proof. Many people have already tried them.

    They're hide and seek boxes.

Put your snake in there and in a few hours your seeking out your snake somewhere in your house.

I looked around many brands and found one a Lowes that is not Sterilite. The drawers are completely enclosed from all sides and are a tight fit with no gap. Got 4 of those for my 4 BP and haven't had any of them escaping.

My husband is just unable to build a rack right now since we don't have anywhere to do that in our apartment and it would make a mess, so this is a temporary solution.

I bought a big one of those for my kid to put his toys in. It has like 5 drawers.
And in under a month all the plastic was cracked and big pieces are missing.
They do not hold up to normal use at all.

With 3 stepsons I can relate to that, where the IKEA bins I bought for them that are meant for that did last more than 6 months with them throwing toys in them or leaving them half opened with a lot of weight in them.

But I open and close the snake bins no more than 3 times a week for water change/feeding/cleaning and I do it more gently than a kid would. I have been using them for about 3 months and they still look brand new.

I'm not saying it's the best system, but the ones I picked and the way I use them works for me. It's also not 1 rack with 5 drawers, but 5 individual drawers that are stackable. It's somewhat more stable than the plastic rack.
