Spider Het Albino or Orange Ghost?
My female spider should be ready to go this year. What Im wondering is should I breed her with my albino or orange ghost. Obviously Ill do atleast 1 or 2 female hold backs to breed back to the sire. I have noticed that the OG's tend to go up and down in popularity.
1.1 Het Albino Ball 1.0 Spider
1.0 Mojave Ball 0.1 Pinstripe
0.1 Honey Bee 0.2 Normal
1.0 Caramel 0.1 Mojave het Caramel

Re: Spider Het Albino or Orange Ghost?
Albino spiders are my favorite!! And I tend to see less off them. So that's what I would go with, but obviously it depends on what YOU like.
1. Orange Dream, probable YellowBelly
1. Pinstripe Het Albino
1. Double Het Albino/Pied
1. Albino 50% Het pied
.1 Albino
.2 Het Albino
.2 Het Pied
.1 Lesser
1.1 Mojave
and one mystery fetus, due in July

Re: Spider Het Albino or Orange Ghost?
Albinos dont seem to be as huge as they once were, they've lost popularity to colour and full white morphs that are of more interest.
That said I'm a fan of albinos with pattern morphs, and I think the OG would do better with a morph that fades the dark regions.
Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies

Re: Spider Het Albino or Orange Ghost?
as we just ordered an spider het ghost male for our butterghost female, i choose this one ;-)
I also think that they are much more possibilities with the ghost for other combos! but depends on the rest of your morphs ;-)

I say the hypo....albino spiders look amazing as babies but the orange tends to fade into the white as they get older...haven't seen an adult lavender spider yet though...plus I LOVE honeybees!

I'm not a fan of honey bees at all, but with the two options you have, I would go with the OG as you'll end up with at least het babies as opposed to poss. het albino babies which will extend that project another 2-3 years.

Both options will give het babies, unless I misread something there will be no poss hets. Either way forget the Honey Bees, they are only a stepping stone to getting Humble Bees..(my fav)
Also after looking at what you have, I would dump the het Albino. Why keep him when you have a visual Albino?

My bad Gavin.
I thought the pairing was a spider X spider het albino. Then I was right.
But it's not.
And I'm not.
Seems we're even now.

Re: Spider Het Albino or Orange Ghost?
Also try breeding your albino to one of your female hets, that way you can hopefully get some female albinos and then sell all your hets. Not to mention you want a Mojave, why not just breed yours for one, and on top of that why not get that het pied some action so you can get some pieds.
Now that I'm done telling you things to do when I have no idea about your actual situation and the age of these snakes... Again, Albino all the way, they work really well with pattern morphs and you can get them faster. Plus when you have a spider albino you can then cross it with your pinstripe :3
