    Meet Chomper our Savannah

He's 3 years old, raised him up from a hatchling. He has his moments, but overall he's a great lizard to have around.

Here he is in the living room with Dorothy and Ace (our cockapoo)

    Absolutely beautiful!

And, by the way, I want to live where you live, it seems very pleasant and cool

You have a wonderful looking Savannah monitor. It is great to see when people keep them even when they get big.

    Thanks, I appreciate reading that.

It breaks my heart when I see baby savs in pet stores knowing their fate is most likely not a good one.

Not a problem, I got mine as a rescue about four years ago, kind of grew on me. I feel the same way, same with Nile monitors too though, they are basically the only two types of monitors I ever see come through as rescues.

Awesome pics! Makes me want to get a monitor some day! Do you have any pics of the enclosure by chance? What does a monitor that size eat? I imagine its a lot.

What a pretty lil chunk! I just got my Sav today and I can't wait until he's big enough to take out on walks ^_^ I especially like the picture of Chomper trying to explore the inside of that boot.
