I really hope it was that, too. You should get a vet fund together as soon as you can though, never know when you might need it. In 10 years I've never had to take a snake to a vet, but I keep a fund just in case. Never know if a feeding will go wrong, the power goes out when you're on vacation, etc.

You could probably make an ad in the "for free" section of your local craigslist for a small tub, too. I have loads of tubs I just don't use anymore, for snakes and for storage, and I'm sure others do too. I'd give you one if you were closer!

Thanks! I appreciate that you would help me out lol, I wish I was closer

Im going to start saving for a vet fund but im sure it was nothing. I havent heard a peep from her since and I can see her head and dont see any bubbles or anything from the mouth

My temps and humidity are also PERFECT

84.1 at the moment on left side, 84.5 on the side with the hide that shes in

    Ambient is 84.2

    Humidity 70%

(keep in mind this is all without anything heating. just room temp doing the work, if I had my UTH or lamp on im sure it would be over 90)

So im sure its fine, but I WILL for sure be making a vet fund. No doubt about it

    Re: My BP!!!!

A steady 84 on each side is still a bit high

Ive had animals not eat when subjected to steady temps that high

    This is just my experience

What can I do to lower it?

    Re: My BP!!!!

Is it a particularly hot day? What's the temperature outside the enclosure? Is he in the same room as a computer or something else that produces quite a bit of heat?

I wouldn't think a day at 84 now and then would be detrimental, provided it does get cooler. I have 84 days at room temp now and then without refusals, but my sample pool is only one animal. 2kdime would know better than me (and I believe he's talking about constant temps at 84, so if it cools down tomorrow or whenever it shouldn't be an issue).

YES. it is an EXTREMELY hot day.

Usually without any heating its at 79. Today no heating and its at 84. Althought it does reach 84 for a few moments randomly when I have the lamp running but never stays there for long

Theres a computer in the room but produces almost zero heat. I use to be all abourt this comp so I have special cooling fans in it and an external fan pushing hot air out the back towards the door (was big on gaming before I picked up my snake)

This is just a very hot day, itll go down

If it doesnt by tomorrow what could I do to cool it down? Put my big fan closer to the tank?

Do you have AC? Keep the doors open, and run a fan if that doesn't work and AC isn't enough. I know some people don't like running the AC too much because of all the energy. Even a couple days at 84 shouldn't be the biggest deal as it should cool off at night anyhow, but we have July and August around the corner and that's when you might need to bust out a fan on some days. Last year my room temps got up to 87 during those months, so be ready.

Yeah I have my fan on, and unfortunatly the air conditioner downstairs doesnt affect the upstairs at all.

My parents have a air conditioner in their room, so Ill test that out, ill keep my door open, put the fan in the doorway facing into my room and keep my window open

That should do it, I hope

Well if it's really hot outside the window might make it worse. Everything else sounds fine.

    Purty Girl! Congrats.

Things to consider: You really need to watch that your humidity is correct with bloods, which can be tricky in an aquarium.
Do you have a bowl of water for her to soak in?
Also Bloods tend to drink copious ammounts of water and therefore the urinate a lot to... Keeping repticarpet clean will most likely prove to be a big challenge.
Bloods can be a bit more sensitive to their environment than ball pythons so make sure you are diligent about watching your temps and humidity.

I keep Balls and Borneos... they are both Awesome animals!

    Best of luck with Her!!!!
