Once they get that big, a small rat weekly is fine. They do most of their growing in the first year and then it starts to slow down and their food intake decreases. If you feed 10-15% of their body weight for their entire lives, you will probably notice them taking long fasts because of the amount of food you are feeding.

Ah, that makes sense yeah I guess ill roll with that then, feed 10 - 15% until 1,000 grams then just give a small rat
