What would you get for a Bumble Bee male?

I would love a Lesser Pastel, but I know its so hard to find one that is close to breeding weight. What does a good Lesser Pastel female (800+grams) go for? I will be on the look out for a female Lemon Blast, Super Pastel, and Lesser Pastel.........maybe I will find one close to 1000g for a descent price (I could only hope)! Their is a reptile show in Arlington, TX next month, maybe I'll get lucky there.

I would say you could find a lesser pastel for around $1200-1400 but unless you get real lucky I doubt you will get a female that's 800g+. If I were you I would shell out the extra cash for the double co-dom.Its worth it in the long run.

What double co-doms? Sorry, I am still pretty new to all this....learning fast though. I am probably going to have to wait a while to get a Lesser and some of the others, at least until I can afford some good quality girls.

I have 3 normal females that are all about 1000 grams, 2 female pastels that are 1000 grams, and 1 female pastel that is 1750 grams. I was hoping to breed the 6 of them to my 700 gram 08 male Bumble Bee. In 6-7 months, they should all be well over 1200 grams, hopefully most of them above 1500 grams. I know I have a slim possiblity of getting a Killer Bee or Super Pastel, which I was hoping to make some trades for the Lesser, Pin, etc. Thanks for your opinions and if you have any other comments, I'd love to hear them.

I'm gonna have to look into the Lesser. I figured just using pastels would at least give me a shot at some more Bumble Bees and slight chance of Killer Bees and Super Pastels. Breeding him with a Spider would be the same as breeding him with a Pastel right (for the most part)?

If you bred him with a pastel you'd have a shot at killerbees, while if you bred him to a spider you wouldn't. Some people think that the super spider is a lethal gene and they don't survive, so you might just get a bunch of dead babies. The ratio of morphs would be the same as if you were to breed him to a pastel, but where with a pastel you'd get killerbees, you'd get dead babies with a spider. (Or maybe babies that look like regular bumblebees who are super spiders. Probably not.)
