How soon can you lift your BP after it swallowing the whole meal?

#1 How soon can you lift your BP after it swallowing the whole meal?

#2 should i wait 24 hours after he ate before i can play with her so she wont throw up?

#3 also, is feeding container necessary? is feeding her on the floor, a bad idea? coz im a bit worried that it might get her trained thinking that i'm feeding her while i'm just gonna play with her..

#4 is it okay to wake the snake up even if he is in the middle of his sleep? would this make the snake aggressive? how do you wake him up that you don't aggravate it?

If your going to be "playing" with her I suggest waiting 48hrs to be safe lol

I would feed in the enclosure just because it seems to be the most consistent method of making your snake feel secure while it is eating. If a snake thinks its in danger it won't eat out of instinct and sometimes removing them from the enclosure and then dropping them in another one with a rodent can be too much and cause it to shy away. Its really up to you though just read the snake. Some snakes get testy from feeding in the enclosure and as soon as they see its open they think its time to eat. But this isn't always the case. Whatever works best for you and the snake. Good Luck!

    #1 48 hours
    #2 48 hours
#3 if she is going to bite you she is going to bite you. no need to feed her anywhere other then her home. just schedule a feeding day for yourself so you know when she is in feeding mode.

You can start handling her twenty-four or forty-eight hours after she eats.

No, food aggression is a myth. Just feed her in the cage, it will be much less stressful on the snake, and it won't cause any aggression issues.

Just feed in enclosure, wait 2 days to handle. If you prescent, she'll smell the food and wake up to get it. She probably won't be bitey at all unless she thinks there's food around.

Re: How soon can you lift your BP after it swallowing the whole meal?

I feed in empty container my collection is small 4 snakes. I take this time to clean the cage and water bowl. As soon as they are eaten i rub there back side so they know there not about to get another bite to eat then put them in to there enclosers. dont handle them again for atleast 24 hours unless they make a mess of there cage...

I have moved them very briefly to clean immediately after they eat, but I generally avoid that unless absolutely necessary.

I will move snakes to clean or weigh them 24 hours after a meal, but I prefer to wait 48 hours if I am going to be posing them for photos, or doing some other sort of general handling.

I always feed in the enclosure with my 4 and none ever bite me! I think if you handle them regularly and you open the enclosure alot for others reasons then they won't think that its feeding time every time you open it! 48 hours is a good safe time to handle after feeding! I always tap on the hide then remove the hide to get them just so they know I am there and they don't get startled!
