You also dont need any special bedding. For a small hatchling its recommended that you simply use a few layers of paper towels or news paper. Its easier to clean, no worry of the snake ingesting bedding and you can monitor its "potty" when it goes on paper. To be sure everything is normal and healthy.

One more thing. Any plants and vines you get to fill and clutter the tank make sure you check them well and cut off any plastic loops in the stems. These sometimes have small loops for hanging purposes. You want to cut them so the snake cant get stuck in the hole of the loop. This happened to member here and she realized those loops need to be cut open or off.

When it grows into the tank you simply go down to 2 hides, proper water bowl and maybe a plant or 2.
Okay, so I gotta watch out with the plastic plants then, cuz almost all theo nes i looked at earlier had loops lol, thanks for that heads up

Also, im wondering, I am buying a starter kit... along with the BP ofcourse, do you think I will be recieving a tank with pre-cut holes for the electrical cords to run through? Or will it just be a regular 20 gal tank with no holes for the cords?

I know thats a very hard question since i dont know what the starter kit is called ect, and not to mention I forgot to ask LOL

edit: Ah damn, that Thermostat shipping special is for US only :'(
