I paired her with my lesser male and produced 3 white snakes plus 3 normal looking snakes in 2007. Due to a heat tape malfunction I lost the 3 normal looking ones. I was good fortune for me that I had the 3 white ones in a different rack. The original female looks like she is gravid. I had her back to the white sun. So hopefully I can produce a supper if there is one. Both white females also look gravid with one of them ovulating today. One was pairted with a hypo super mojave and the other to a pastel ivory.

I currently have 2 clutches from the white male in the incubator. One from a normal female and the other from a pastel female.

Hopefully I will get some more info on this puzzle as the season progresses. I am also really interested in seeing an RDR phantom mojave pairing. Trevor of TNT Reptiles has a clutch on the ground and Brock is expecting some soon also. Maybe the Mystic and Phantom are a little different. I don't think a mystic lesser combo has been produced yet.

Thanks for all the great comments.

Thanks for the history on them. Its great to here stuff like this. You defiantly got something going on with that "normal" female. Good luck and keep us posted. Looking forward to seeing what else pops us.

well shes obviously not "normal" since when paired with a lesser she throws white babies lol. obviously she has a BEL gene, but by the looks of her though, its one even more subtle to the eye than a het russo, and clearly can do some of the mystic/special/phantom type stuff if paired properly. altho it is interesting that she produces white snakes with some and then that other awesome looking fella.

It does look like a lesser crystal to me, its just the white snakes in the clutch are confusing. The only thing i can think of is that your lesser is a hidden gene lesser and the original mum is a special that carries the epic gene and those two hidden genes produced the white snakes when crossed.

I should mention that the clutch was sired by 2 males. The original intent was the hypo mojave female would be breed to the hypo super mojave male. But I had mixed up my hypo super mojave with the other white snake one time during the season. So the hypo mojave sired the 2 hypos super mojaves, 3 hypo mojaves and the other white snake sired the ????, the BEL (lesser/mojave) het hypo and the leser het hypo.

Lots of people think Crystal but with the mother orginally producing a white snake that seems wrong. Just have to wait for a couple more clutches and some clutches from some other breeders to shed some more light on this project.

Well, I do believe the Mystic/Phantom x Lesser cross produces white snakes. So that female very well could be a Mystic/Phantom. The more I look at her, the more she looks like she has the Phantom gene. I would put her to a Mojo only to prove that out, there is a big difference in the apperence of the Crystal and Potions.
