Yay! Congrats! So glad you found the little guy. 
And I agree, double-check the security of his enclosure. Owners often get lucky and find their lost serpents, but luck does run out sometimes.

First places to check when a ball escapes:
Closet (I've had a few snakes escape over the years, and 50% were in the back of a closet when found).
Underside of couch--if the batting is loose, they can get up into the springs and hide in there.
Think like a ball python--they want small, tight-fitting, dark places that are as far from foot traffic as possible.
Other snakes may tend to travel down in the house, and wind up in the basement--ball pythons move more slowly, and are likely to be in the same room they escaped in unless a very long time has passed.
