Re: Help!!!!!!!
There have been some members who said it was their cats and dogs that ended up sniffing out the escapee in the past...

Re: Help!!!!!!!
look up as well!! We have had some climbers on here. Look between the bed and the mattress. Behind the washer and dryer, fridge like someone stated is good, up in the couch, not sure if you have a radiator type heating system but someone found theirs in that spot. Put out a box..with a heating pad under it and a dead mouse in it.

Re: I found him!!
Thank goodness. Now how did he escape? I doubt you want this happening again.
And get those belts off the floor!

Yay! Congrats! So glad you found the little guy.
And I agree, double-check the security of his enclosure. Owners often get lucky and find their lost serpents, but luck does run out sometimes.

Re: Help!!!!!!!
First places to check when a ball escapes:
Closet (I've had a few snakes escape over the years, and 50% were in the back of a closet when found).
Underside of couch--if the batting is loose, they can get up into the springs and hide in there.
Think like a ball python--they want small, tight-fitting, dark places that are as far from foot traffic as possible.
Other snakes may tend to travel down in the house, and wind up in the basement--ball pythons move more slowly, and are likely to be in the same room they escaped in unless a very long time has passed.
