Re: I'm very interested in the gold eyelash vipers.

Look, I share your pasion and would love to own a hot someday. From what you've posted in differant threads, your what? 15? plus you have (according to your posts)
little to no experience with snakes not to mention hots. Third, you are young so you probably are atleast some what more suseptible to the venom. I can name lots of reasons why this is not a good idea, but these are the biggest. And ofcourse this hobby shure does need more teenagers getting sent to the hospital from a venomus snake.

Now if that didn't convice you then I belive the standard advice is that you should get an aggresive non venomus snake such as a coach whip, water snake, etc and keep it for atleast a year. handle it, clean its encloser etc. now every time it bites you, take a little sticky note and write something like this and tape it to it's encloser:

"Today I would have almost died and would owe the hospital 30,000 give or take."

By the end of the year decide whether or not you still want to keep a hot.

BTW, I'm not some bitter 40yr old who looks down on kids, I'm thirteen years old and even I know you should wait. Sorry to be a downer, but you just got or are about to get a BP (I think?) just enjoy it for now ok?
