When did we attack you? Because we said your stuff was wrong?
You asked we told. If you didnt want to be told what you was doing was wrong then why ask?
Thats the point of asking is so we can evaluate it and tell you what u could improve on.

In case you missed it in my previous post, feed them now, before you move. They will only need about 48 hours to digest before the move...

coming into a forum is very "we" vs "you"... reminds me of communisim lmao
now that I have been treated like a child
I will be consulting my local herp vet... instead of u "know it alls"
Thank you for you time and your advice
I will not be responding to this thread or any other thread further...
Against communisim, verbal raping and attacking

Make sure its a "herp vet" not just some vet that knows a little on herps. And he will probably tell you same advise we told you.
Take care and good luck

Yes because one person's basic reptile advice is better than a whole forum worth of people experienced in keeping this particular species. Go join any ball python forum or talk to any major breeder, you are going to get the same advice, you say you wanted to learn more as a semi newbie but threw everyone's great info out the window because it's not what you want to do.

Re: semi-newbie mltp ?s need help nd suggestions
I knew this was going to happen.
Anytime someone comes here and relates a story like this, they say " I want to know how to take better care of my animals". But what they really want is to be told they are doing everything right. They don't really care about what is best for the animals, they just want justification.
The fact that the OP brought a pet store into the discussion proves that fact. I mean, since when is a place that is there for the express purpose of making money off of animals the best place to get advise on how to care for them ? If I sold something I called an antique, does that make me an antiquities expert?
It just upsets and distresses me to no end, people come here claiming they want help, but when it is offered, they get huffy and self-righteous. I've seen this so many times when I used to breed cockatiels. Someone would ask me what to do, but when I told them, based on years of experience with these birds what to do or not to do, they deliberately ignored my advise, or worse did just the opposite. Then, they come crying to me when something goes terribly wrong. I feel deep sorrow for these snakes. Why should they have to suffer because of their owners stubborn ignorance?
When I first got into Balls, I thought I knew enough to take care of them. And for 3 years, I did fine, or so I thought. When my poor care turned them hostile and made them refuse feed, I wasn't prepared. I tried to correct the situation, but it seemed a case of too little, too late. And I knew giving them to a more experienced owner was the only thing that was fair to them. And guess what ? Once they were in the hands of someone who knew what they were doing, the problems went away. Then I found this place, and I was shocked at how little I really knew. But you know what? I admitted I didn't know, learned from it, and now I have 18 healthy, happy pet BP's.

Don't ask if you don't really want our opinions! Almost everybody here has needed help at some point and was given opinions on how to make their setups better! That is the point of asking for help/opinions, right?
