No scam a mistake, I now know thanks to you and about 30 other Kingsnakers ha ha. But thank you for educating me. She is actually a 2003 that I bought as a 100% het for green ghost. I was told by another Kingsnaker that there they don't call them "green ghost" any more that they are pastels, but apparently that guy was wrong as the 30 of you have now informed me.

I feel stupid for even asking a question like this, but I am still new to this whole world of Ball Python morphs, and I am still trying to learn as much as I can.

But tell me if I am right here. A Pastel is co-dominant, meaning if you breed a normal female to say a male pastel (or vice versa?) that the offspring will be 50% pastels and 50% normals? So the normals are just normals obviously, they can't be "het" for a pastel since a pastel is already "het" for a super pastel.

So exactly how did a "Pastel" get produced in the first place?

Tell me if I am right, or back me up and explain it to me if I was a little off lol.

Pastels are a het if you consider them het for super pastel. Another way to think of them, is as a visual morph with a super form of super pastel.

I couldn't tell you how they showed up in the wild, other than they were some type of weird anomaly and happened to be genetic. This happens all the time with ball pythons in the wild, new codom/dom morphs pop up all the time.

Everyone thinks the Midwest, aka particularly Kansas is just one big FARM, which simply isnt true. I live here and can vouch for it, its funny to me though that people think it.

@ Repsrul, take it easy. Every state has some sort of joke attached to it. The MTV show "Jersey Shore" did NOT help Jersey's image That was the worst show on the planet and J-Wow (right?) makes me crazy.

I did not see the picture. Only two of those people on that show where from Jersey. The rest were from an area in NY and J-Woww is not from Jersey. That show was a joke but it seems like you watched it.
