    Re: To cut or not to cut the egg

    I have my first clutch this year, and I will be cutting once the first one pips. If it doesn't hurt them I don't see the harm in it. It's purely to "save" the ones who don't have the egg tooth. Granted some people say they deserve to die if they don't have an egg tooth, but I'm not on that bandwagon. Some people like to cut before any pip, but that's just impatience

    I do the same with the poultry eggs I incubate. It's purely so they can breathe, not so I can dump them out early-that would kill them.
