What power strip should i get for a rack? I'm useing a herpstat.

I understand what you are saying now. I have never done it so I don't have an answer. I would like to know if it is safe to plug a power stip into your herpstat myself if you do not go over the wattage of the thermostat just for future reference. I would think it is not a good idea but I don't know.

I would try to keep this topic confined to the other thread you already started.

Just plug in a power strip that doesnt have a "switch/breaker" on it.

Spyder Robotics ships them out this way and thats what I would do if I needed to plug one into one of them.

Im sure itd be fine....BUT

Might contact Spyder now that I think about it, it was Helix that ships them out with little power strips without the breaker on them.

Spyder Robotics might suggest otherwise.

I would avoid the surge protector type power strip. They could activate during one of the up down temperature swings the system does in proportional mode and leave those tubs without heat. If you have the Pro or Herpstat II they have alarms, so if you set the alarm and were home you would hear it and could do something, but the basic herpstat doesn't have this feature.

I've used the inexpensive simple power strips that you buy 2 for 5 or 6 bucks at lowes or Home depot for over 2 years without any issues other than if you plug and unplug things too much they may start to wear out.
