Yes He will have have em in there at the same time once the berm gets big enough. Were going to have a slide door so he can lock her into her hide for while he cleans it

Well we finally got the top on and all put together. Now we just have to add the bedding and kiddie pool and it should be ready for her. We added a sliding door between the hide and the main part that can be opened and closed from the outside. The first 2 pics are of the door and then the rest of it.

I have always wanted to build a room sized enclosure for a large constrictor like that.

I am a firm believer that giving a large snake like that room to move around encourages growth.

I would LOVE to own a 20' plus Burm. I know that it would probably take a few tries to get an animal that had the genetic potential to reach that size and a boatload of food, but wtf...isn't that part of the fun LOL.

    Re: Birtha's cage

LOL... I know it sucks but I do appreciate al the help from you and Eric. I couldn't have done it with out you guys. I do agree that it sucks having to take it all down just to rebuild it but in the long run I think that it will turn out for the best. As for the size of the cage. WOW...I freakin love it, gives her alot of room for growth, and she seems to be more active in it. She is also less pissy and seems to enjoy the fact that she can hide better than she could in the spare bedroom. As for the Burm going in with her I am going to attempt a breeding project between the Burm and Herm. I am looking to get Hybrids out of them will be some time down the road. As Sebastian, the Burm is not even a year old yet, But he is growing fast and doing great. And Jake for the moving part I am dreading moving the Stubby the Caiman and his tank than I am moving Bertha and hers. Oh well......Once again thank you, brother......J
