    2 liter soda bottle waterer

I've seen on a couple of you tube vids and elsewhere where people are using 2 liter soda bottles as water bottles in rat racks. Hey great idea i say to myself. So i come home try it and I cant get the things to work. they spray water around the lick ball because of their own weight. Does anyone have any tips on how to make these work?

    tubs, racks or tanks?

large water bottle "caps" normally will fit a 2 liter soda botle.

Racks, I realize the caps fit the bottles my issue is that when I fit the caps to the bottles and lay them on top of the rackleaning against the feed hopper the weight of the water in the bottle forces the water out in a spray. my question is are there any tips for preventing this

then its not pressure, it is either the valve design or you have dirt in the valve.

I have tried what you are talking about....didn't do it because I want my tubs pretty close together and the bottles won't fit...

personally I would say to dump the idea and build a watering system....

    filling bottles sucks.

When I tried it, it was a suction problem. There wasn't any air going back in. Let me know if you fix the problem let me know.
