    Re: she shed but....

Not that I know anything about breeding but she does look a little wavvy in the back. Like the lumps I see in other pics....just not as big as some.

Ok ....hope that made sense...in my head it did but then again........lol

While the female is making eggs she actually loses weight and it goes into the eggs..Sometimes you can see it in the first half of her..

    Re: she shed but....

I weighed my girl about a week before she laid and she had lost 100 grams. A several weeks ago when I picked her up you could really tell she had eggs because they all slid down her body towards her tail.

This is what she looked like while I had her picked up about a month ago

This is was what she looked like a couple days before laying

Really good pictures! I would wait, you never know, and with the spine sticking and and her weight records, it sort-of seems like it! Good luck!

I hated to bother her too, but the first time was to change the substrate and the second was just to bother her and weigh her. Also to give her an ear full about how I felt about her being so late!

Well if she looks like that first picture I'd say you are good!

    Re: she shed but....

I noticed the same thing after their POS. like another guy previously stated, alot of their body weight goes into those eggs. I also think that they look thinner because the swelling from ovulation has dissapeared. It's just our head messing with us But good luck with her and I hope she gives you a nice clutch!
