he usually has about 6-8" to burrow into but when I was vacuuming this week I nailed the end of his tank and it broke that isn't his normal tank its only a 20L, I had been keeping him in a 30L. I'm going down to LLL tomorrow to pick a new one up for him

haha its a 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 3, i ended up getting it off of craigslist for a whole $50. Filled it 10" high with substrate, threw in the water dish and hides, aluminum tape/foiled the heck out of the top (only left holes for the lights) threw the little guy in there and watched him explore and dig and be happy.

I really dont have a hard time at all keeping humidity up. Without misting, both the water and sav tanks stay beautifully at 52-54% and when i mist it daily, to keep the top layer of substrate moist and burrowable it shoots up to 80ish% and takes pry 5 hours to get back down to 50ish%
