I've heard of folks using a very small amount of athlete's foot powder, applied with a q-tip, to mold spots. Reportedly it kills the mold, and the hatchlings come out fine.

I can actually vouch for using Athletes foot powder I used to use it with any leopard gecko eggs that started going moldy.
