I'm experiencing something similar this year. Last year my female stopped eating in November and didn't start again until after eggs hatched in July. This year, she hasn't really stopped eating altogether. She ate earlier this month just a few days before I saw her ovulating. Last night I offered her a mouse and she snatched it up before it even hit the floor. It's definitely weird because when I pick her up, I can see the bulges. There's no mistaking she's gravid but everything I've ever read on breeding snakes has said that they will not eat after they ovulate. I'm glad you made this thread. It's reassuring.
Well not so much but it didn't take long to get that way..they were in there for a day or two so I figured a few minutes to get everything together wouldn't be that big of an issue

I hear you on that one.. My incubator runs almost year round so I don't have that problem but can see how it would be stressful. Good luck with your season... And wish I could get surprised with 8 pieds in 6 eggs (have yet to get twins... )

It was so weird most of the time they take a while to come back on food but she ate no kidding the minute I got her tub cleaned up.
