Not to highjack, but noob question:

Breed two hets, what are your odds?

Definitely not made of money, so hets may be my best shot for ever owning a pied, or saving money on an albino...

Anybody?

Depends on if it's Recessive, codom or dom. Do a search on genetics here and I thihk you will find your answer.

Het pied x Het pied will give you a 25% chance per egg of it being a visual, or 1 in 4 thought it doesn't always cut perfectly even like that. you could luckout and get several visuals or be just the opposite and get none. All in the luck of the draw.

I think if you breed two albinos together you just get albinos. If you did get any normals, they would be 100% het albino.

A visual to a 100% het should give you a 50/50 clutch.
100% het to 100% het gives you a 1/4 chance with all the normals being 66% het
A visual to a visual gives you all visuals..
