I ain't uncrossin' them until he is 100% cleared by the vet and ready for his mandingo thing! So glad to hear he ate!

The thing I love about him is his markings are so pronounced in areas (as a blood should be) and yet he has those neat (I call them "airbrushings") marks up his sides. Sandy, ifin' ya' ever get sick of takin' care of him or anything, let us know! Though I seriously doubt that would ever happen. We all can see how much you care for him, just like we do our guys. Just to confirm, he does have an RI, correct?

    Yea,
We think it is a bacterial RI that developed over “a long, long time” and that is why it is being so difficult to get rid of. The cultures have only come back bacterial and not fungal. I did have one culture come back clear but the sample was taken from a swab through the glottis and the bacteria may have still been further down, maybe in the lung. So we still have a ways to go here.

Thought about a lung wash Sandy?

I know its a procedure that can get stuff out of the depths of the lung.....

This is turning out to be one expensive Borneo

    Still wishing you the best

Last time we were at Doc’s office, we talked about doing a lung wash. He said to wait 2 weeks to see how Trinity responses to the oral baytril. Trinity has been on the Baytril for one week now. I think a lung wash will tell us more.
As far as expense, I feel that I took on responsibility for this animal and he is fighting otherwise we would have lost him already. I started digging the hole; I guess I will finish digging the pool (if you know what I mean).
