    I noticed that problem instantly, hence the reason we've built up the sides around the collection bowl.

    @WingedWolfPsion
    Isn't that the reason theres a filter built into the water reservoir? The water drops in one half, passes through the filter and then up the pump.

    Yes but ball pythons will also pee solid urates....

    I'd skip it. The filter will clog--solid urates, bits of substrate, etc. nothing fun to clean, and a hassle to keep it running. Also, the pumps, when clogged, can get quite hot...
