Not everyone was born into the family they would want. I am thankful for my mom, but she is all I have. You are so right, but it's sooooo hard to look past her ignorance as a mother. I try my best, but it still really gets to me. His whole family is like that though. None of his family has called to talk to him or ask about him, let alone come see him. Not even his brother or sister have drove the 20 minutes to come see him. I just don't get that family
Stop letting them get to you. Think about the family you are building now. Serious.
