Haha, thats perfect. Its like telling people i have pet rats. They think i went down to the sewers and set some traps to get them. People dont realize their high intelligence level. And to most people, a snake is a snake is a snake. They dont differentiate species like we do. We look at a burmese python and a afrock next to eachother and see two completely different species, while the average person sees two snakes, and thats it.

There is just too much generalization out there and its our job to help educate people. Whenever i tell people i have snake and they ask "are the poisonous?" or can it kill you or some dumb (to us its dumb) question. I take the opporunity to spread the knowledge i have to them, and hopefully people will come to understand our love for reptiles a little more.
