Some pictures of my little baby nic

This was the little female that escaped in my car (but was found the same day in like an hour). She has shed out and is absolutely beautiful. She's eaten 3 times for me so far and is very, very sweet. An amazing snake with a great pattern. She does have a little discoloration in the scales on one section of her back, that is near the area where she was injured. Shes doing fine now and is growing and looking great

the amount of iridescence on these guys is NUTS. she practically glows. She was crazy rainbow-ey before she shed and now she is stunning.

    Full body

    Face

This is that area of discoloration in the scales. Im assuming it will re pigment over time

    side markings

Nice looking Nic. I own a few Nics, which are mostly morphs, but I am still partial to the normals. I love their color and pattern.

I will have to check them out. I have quite a few, but haven't taken many pics of them. I will have to get on that. Nics are cool boas, because they stay small and come in many flavors...

I went to look at your website and its down. Let me know when its back up and you've got some images of your guys up there. There seems to be a lot of variation in the T+s

What does the T+s mean? It seems I have noticed it showing up more and more recently...

That is a nice looking little nic. She is definitely shiny. My little Costa Rican shed last night.

Yes there are. All of my T+s look fairly similar, but do have their differences. I have noticed that my 07s look better than my 08s. I'm hoping that is because they get better with age.

The site needs a lot of work, so I have been putting it off. I am going to start on it soon though...

There are two forms of albinism in snakes, T+ (tyrosinase-positive) and T- tyrosinase-negative). T- is your normal albino. I am no geneticist, but from what I understand T- albinos do not produce tyrosinase, while T+ does. However, for some reason or another T+ albino's pigment cells are not able to produce melanin. I hope that makes sense. T+ are also called caramel albinos.
