Possible regurge and/or diarrhea...HELP!

It sticks together but his normal ones are usually harder. And the white stuff is definitely gooey. He's never had a bowel movement with the white gooey stuff before though.

Diarrhea is very obvious. It is liquidy and usually smeared all over the cage. if it was just a little softer than usual, it is not diarrhea.

How long have you had your snake? My snakes will sometimes only poo hair once every few months, having regular turd poos in between.

Okay that makes sense then if he's never done it for me. I've had him for almost a year. I thought it would be weird for him to regurgitate a week after feeding. I still might take him in along with a stool sample just for peace of mind. I think I'll wait until Monday so I can take him to a vet as opposed to going tomorrow to emergency care.

A regurg happening after a week is pretty much impossible. The food should be out of the stomach after 2 or 3 days depending on temperatures.

If his poo was extra mushy, doing a fecal isn't a bad idea. No need for a $200 vet appointment.

What are the temps in his enclosure?

Can you get any closer/ clearer pics of the "regurge" stuff?

As long as the temps were ok I probably wouldn't be too quick to drop $200 just to visit the vet.

I went to the vet teaching hospital near me and they spent most of the time trying to teach the students things that were unrelated to the reason I was concerned and wanting to order all the latest ( horrifically expensive ) tests.

I won't lie - being told an x-ray, anaethesia, possible biopsy, and two nights of housing was an essential part of the process of diagnosing a respiratory infection made me use words that would get me kicked off this site.

In the end I paid for a basic consult, picked up the snake and went somewhere else.

Call me a typically tight Scotsman but when you are using me and mine for teaching and experimentation/ practice you pay me not the other way about.
