I can't tell you to buy the standard rack if you can't fit that one in the room either. If both racks are made properly, they both will do the job. Either manufacturer will also do the job.

I don't mean to say it this way, but this purchase is really up to you. Find the one that will fit into th room best, then find the best deal on the set up they way you'd like it (belly or back heat etc). At this point money is the answer. Find the best deal for what you want and buy that one.

The sideway racks sag in the middle over time and the standard will not! The standard will also provide a better heat gradient because the heat is just at one end! Also I would go with the 41 quart tubs because none of your snakes will outgrow it!

you shouldnt really put a snake in a tub that is too small just because its convenient and fits in your room. thats pretty much cruel if you ask me.

either get a bigger room for your snakes or dont own any snakes.

We don't talking about to small... I dint gonna put adult ball python in 12qt tub...that will be insane!!!. but 32 in is spacious enough and if You don't have monster female 2000g and above 32 is just fine and more versatile because males gonna fell better in smaller tubs. Ball pythons like tide spaces when they have too much space they feel insecure and stress out...

I don't know if I agree with that statement unless you're talking about keeping ball pythons in a shoebox ro something that size. I know a lot of breeders that keep their adult females in 32 qt sterilites. Like others have said, they keep females up to 2500 grams in a 32 qt tub.

Re: Aahhh!! What size rack and style?!?

Thanks for all the replies. I'm not trying to cram a snake in too small of a space (maybe that comment wasn't directed at me). Space is not an issue at all.

And I realize I need to decide myself -- therefore that is why I was asking opinions -- so I could make an educated decision. I don't think I ever asked anyone to actually make the decision for me, did I?

    Thanks for all the help!!

I think I will be going with a standard 41qt rack.
