The newscaster seemed pretty supportive, he asked that regulatory "are things in place to make sure the right people get these question" And you fired right back with the pit bull which is right on the money.

Hahaha! Not a big time drinker myself - not because I'm opposed to it, I just never got much enjoyment out of it - I'd much rather have a large mug of diet coke! LOL

I will drink a beer or two, but that will probably be back at the hotel. I think I'm the designated driver.

I am in the wine industry, but all my friends and I pride ourselves on stout drinking. Though I tend to be abit well behaved then most of my friends....mostly because I pinch myself alot.

I am in the wine industry, but all my friends and I pride ourselves on stout drinking. Though I tend to be abit well behaved then most of my friends....mostly because I pinch myself alot.

My boss and one of my co-workers brew their own beers. Kroger has an endcap of all kinds of higher end beers (single bottles) and a cardboard six pack so you can mix and match. I just stand there and stare - wanting to try something new, but not knowing what's good.

I tried to see if they had a list of those beers anywhere to take and show my co-worker so he could make suggestions, but they don't.

Now I tell ya I plug this place to everyone who comes to alabama. But if you like great high end beer you wont find a bigger selection of craft beer and good eats in Alabama then the J Clyde.

They'll even pour you a few tastes and they sell taste portion sets of 5 different beers in mini mugs. Plus they have a really knowledgeable staff with new stuff all the time.


You'd be crazy not to pop in for a visit while your here if you like good beer and the best pub food in the ham.

Me too - I'm just killing time right now. Got some snakes cleaned - did the rats last night, got Nugget's travel cage some toys this morning, gassed up, got 2 cases of diet coke and need to pull some clothes out of the dryer and some animals packed up - but waiting until the last moment to pack the animals up. It's gotten COLD here today! Brrrrrrr!!!
