Could be something new. Looks like mom has something hidden in her. A chance for a "walter" line pastel.

Was waiting for someone to bring this up. Here are some pics of other offspring that the male produced with different females. Nothing even close to this other group.

Dis You Try breed the to each other to find how eventually super looks ??
Been trying and nothing yet. I am hoping this year they will do something.

I'll agree with everyone else who stated this: The first ones you posted look like Ruppel pastels. There is a chance there could be something else going on with that female though. I'd suggest breeding a different male to her this year (a cinnamon or something) to see if the offspring from that clutch do something similar.

Those look pretty cool Walter. I would love to see them in person. Maybe you should bring them to the Eras Show since my table is right beside yours.

Another question that I feel is worth asking. Did you have any kind of issues during incubation? I don't know this for sure, but it seems a whacked out pattern and all that blushing may have come from that.

Looks like in between a Ruppel and Sandblast to me. Better yet, if proven new morph, why not call it Walter Line Pastel?

They almost look like pewters, but that would be impossible given the parents... I agree the mom has something funky going on, maybe a hidden het gene? They're way cool, whatever they are!
