diff for Lemon Pastel and Jungle Pastel ?
I read on Ralph Davis Reptiles website about Pastel ball
http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/co...all_python.asp
it said:
As of now ( 2002 )there are three "types" of Pastel Jungle ball pythons on the market.........The "Classic" Pastel........the Lemon Pastel...........and the Blonde Pastel. I believe all three are co-dom.........meaning that when they are bred together..........1 in 4 should be a "SUPER"...........And for anyone who does really understand the "Co-Dom" thing...........I will try and make it easy right now for you.........get ready.........this will be loooooongggggggggggggggggggg.............
I would like to know what is the differences between lemon pastel and jungle pastel ....

Lemon Pastels, Blonde Pastels, Ruppel pastels are just different lines of the pastel jungle.
Freakie, Where did you get that pastel jungle? He is a looker.

I thought lemon pastel's colouration intensifies with age, whereas the pastel jungle's colour typically gets dimmer as it gets older.

Some do.. Some jungles are really bright as adults and some lemons dull out.. it just varies from animal to animal

I don't have any first hand experiance with that but have heard vague rumors that super pastels produce brighter pastels..

Hard to tell they do go through and Ugly duckling stage where they really don't look their best.. Remember that if the sire is a Lemon then the breeder is going to call it's of spring Lemons. Even if they don't really hold to the "LEMON" look.
I've even seen people advertising pastel's at shows that say lemon on the box. You get to talking to them and they don't any more lave NERD Lemons in their collection than the man in the moon. They were just pretty so they called them Lemons..
It's just a name to describe a look nothing more..
