    Too bad I missed it.

Just for clarification though - it's never been intended to be a full chat room. It's more intended to be a "shout-out" box.

Re: Big Gunns opportunity of a lifetime

I know that in the pond of Oversized Guppies and the egos that go with them from whence our hero was spawned normal rules simply do not apply, but does not a "once in a life time" opportunity happen only once in a lifetime?

I suppose if we start considering what specific lifetimes could be referenced, gnats, certain flies, other pests and parasites for whom an entire day IS a lifetime then the statements of The Gup would make more sense, but I'm not sure he considers such lowly creatures in the depth and breadth of his postulations.

Not that it matters, of course, but somehow it just seems like cheating to offer something as a one time deal then, once the deal has been consummated, to offer it over and over again.

Oh well, such is the life of The Gup I suppose, if he can't get satisfaction the first time around you KNOW he'll be there again, seeking to be the center of what ever there is to be the center of, even if he has to create that center himself.

    Must be a fish thing.

Ummm, I read it as "Chance/opportunity of a Lifetime" not "once in a life time." Perhaps my speed reading overlooked "once in a life time" phrase in the post?

Far as I know...one can have many Chances in a lifetime. He's giving us one of them and perhaps will give us one of those chances many times in our lifetime.

You missed none of that. Big Gunns spent the whole time trying to calm his excited fans down so they could actually chat with him. This took hours.

And a HUGE "loss" at that. Keep your eyes and ears open. This "once in a life time opportunity" may come some day for you also.

HMMMMM. Big Gunns is still trying to figure this one out. You see on any forum of any kind that BG has ever been(and he is a loser he's been to many), the chat room....was for chatting. This is why it is named such.

BG isn't sure if you had some serious issues before, but no worries, with Big Gunns around, the law breakers would never dare to come in.

As far as worrying about keeping it "family friendly" also. If you see what's on a day time soap nowadays, BG thinks most kiddies can handle anything that might slip out in chat.

Anyway Rabs...that's BG's thoughts on it. Don't worry though. Big Gunns can be a very busy man. He can't spend all his time in chat. He fans would keep him there for years if he'd let them.

Well look who it is. Even the master of eloquence has found the time to post on BG's thread. He seems a bit perturbed if you ask Big Gunns that he missed this "once in a lifetime opportunity".

You see it's like this oh master of linguistics. Any time you have the chance to chat with Big Gunns. This could be considered a "once in a lifetime opportunity". It doesn't matter how many times you do it, you'll still feel the same about it. Ask anyone who has...they can explain this to you very clearly BG's favorite fan he hasn't met yet.

It is however no surprise to Big Gunns that you apear to be an expert on the life span of "pests". Big Gunns has one thing to ask yah. How much longer do you have to live?

"Perhaps" he will. Although like BG stated. He is a very busy man who is about to get even busier. He will give his fans fair warning next time though so that they can postpone any weddings, graduations, baby showers etc....so that everyone can make it.

Big Gunns has got to say. Where did you find the dictionary with Big Gunns picture in it to find all these words?

You can tell the ladies(BG needs to keep up his tough guy image with guys), but you can't put it in print.

BG never lies. Many universities have done studies and it's a proven fact. It does not however work for punks and hypocrits.
