Re: "The Onion" video on large pythons

The Onion is into total satire and spoof. Two University of Wisconsin students started it when I was going to school there. Now, it's huge and is not only a newspaper, but a website, and webcasts, and they even have "The Onion Movie" which wasn't that great, mildly funny. This snake vid is not real. But, it is pretty funny.

    I love the Onion

Today I went to one of my favorite card stores and found a whole box set of Onion postcards. It totally made my day! This is getting posted on Facebook!

I thought the picture of the boy dressed up like a mouse was a hoot.

wtf.....that was ridiculous. You can help...including money for a therapy snake for his sister.

While I can kind of see the funny spoof in it....you know...there are some ppl that think OMG ...that happened...and hence starts more of the rumor mill.

Re: "The Onion" video on large pythons

Well, I DON'T love the Onion, because that would just be supporting the mediocre humor they have to resort to. Really, this isn't about laughs. Maybe The Onion thinks it is, but to those who DO take the proper precautions and care, it's outright damaging.

I'm tired of the media being allowed to brainwash people. What is this, politics?

You think the Onion Spoof was about brainwashing? Again, I have to ask - are you serious?

Third time - are you serious?

If so, the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games, what with the giant moose and inflatable beavers, is starting to make sense........

Re: "The Onion" video on large pythons

I thought it was hilarious. It doesn't really cast snakes in a negative light, it casts the lack of common sense on irresponsible snake owners. Besides this is what the onion does, taking them serious is like taking Jey Leno serious...

I found this video to be extremely funny as well. Anyone who watches the Onion and takes it serious is a bit thick.

Re: "The Onion" video on large pythons

Sometimes it really surprises me how much people need to lighten up... Its satire. It was funny. I know we are all touchy about this subject, but come on, be able to enjoy some humor...
