Wow, that sucks. Mistakes happen once in a while no matter who you buy from. I hope whoever you got it from makes it right for you, because unfortunately, the value of that snake just dropped a lot. Still an amazing looking lavender. Good luck getting things resolved.

Ouch man, let us know how that works out. Not that a male Lav is bad, but not if you really wanted a female.

Re: my new addition to my family!!! A lavender

Clockwork sold this snake to Josh Platt. I acquire it as a female and trusted Clockwork properly sexed the lav. Turns out I placed the lav with a reduced patterned clown to breed her and they DID NOT GET ALONG. The lav was a stubborn popper. The lav was probed a male and I was upset. I dont need a male. I wanted a female. I contacted Josh and he said he will not honor anything since I had the snake "the industry standard" 30 days. Clockwork said they can find a buyer for the lav.

I tell you one thing, a mans word means more than the actions of these guys. I bought a 2007 adult female lav (1340 gram) for 5k and received a male.

Maybe try the Board of Inquiry over on Fauna Classifieds and see if they can help resolve it. I'm sorry this happened, even though it is still a beautiful snake...

Maybe we can start an email campaign to see if we can't get Josh Platt see the error of his ways.

Well, if you want to get it off of your hands, I might be able to find some loose change in the couch. That will about cover it, won't it?

    Seriously though, that sucks...
