Re: egg tub question.
Not quite sure what you mean by your tubs... most of us use the 6qt shoe boxes. For those extra large clutches you can split them up between tubs or you can bump up to the next size.
Press n Seal is simply a way of keeping in the humidity. If your tubs can keep the humidity levels then there is no need for it, but if not press n seal couldn't hurt.

they are clear airtight containers. i wanted to use this because i dont need to open to look at the eggs. problem is air exchange. how often do u think i need to open it?

I would say every couple days or so. Until the last two weeks, then I would open it daily.

Most don't open the tubs at all until the last few weeks. Its all up to you really, no real need to disturb the tub, but if you feel the need you can burp the tub once a week.

Re: egg tub question.
Hi,
I remember asking about air exchange.
The amount of air in the box plays too much of a factor to be ignored I think.
Small box with a lot of substrate will need burped more often than a huge box with little substrate etc.
